Arsenal hold new talks to sign ‘outstanding’ midfielder in January; he’s told friends he’s keen

Arsenal got their three bids for Douglas Luiz rejected by villa on transfer deadline.

Douglas Luiz is a central midfielder and the Gunners wanted him to cushion Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka.

Mohamed Elneny and Lokonga are back up players for Arsenal and are not considered fit for first XI.

Football Insider has revealed that Douglas Luiz has told family and friends he would to join Arsenal despite failed transfer last summer transfer.

The player will be out of contract at the end of may next year.

Aston villa could offer him a pre contract as per Transfer tavern.

The Gunners have to pay £30m in January if they’ll reignite their interest on Luiz.
